Westbury Manor, Fareham

Over a three year period we produced films, exhibitions and marketing material for the museum's events and shows

The projects included Light Nights, Heroes, Speed and the original Isle of Wight festival.

Light Nights, the Writing on the Wall was a multi-projection series of films. Each window of Westbury Manor was lit up by a different film remembering wartime Fareham. The event took place on the evening of the clocks changing in October.

The Heroes project pitched Fareham against Gosport in their bids to find the greatest hero of the two towns. Voting ‘booths’, designed and constructed by 131 Design were situated in libraries and museums, while promotional literature and short films were developed to support and publicise the event.

A locally-led exhibition, Speed looked at modern history and local hi tech industry through the lives and achievements of some of the world’s greatest pioneers of Speed, with local Fareham connections. In keeping with this theme, the gallery was presented in an industrial style and the exhibition relied on significant multi-media content with two digital projections and three films with audio, running simultaneously.
